Leave the busy streets of Marrakech behind and spend a day discovering the authentic side of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Your experience begins with a visit to a local pottery workshop, where you will meet local artisans and discover traditional Moroccan pottery techniques. You will have the opportunity to see how the pieces are made and, depending on the workshop, try your hand at creating your own piece. We then head into the Atlas Mountains for an easy and scenic hike through traditional Berber villages, olive groves and beautiful mountain landscapes. Along the way, your local host will share stories about the area, its traditions and everyday village life. After the walk, enjoy a homemade Moroccan lunch with a local family. This is a chance to slow down, taste traditional Moroccan food and share a genuine moment with local people — far from the usual tourist routes. Throughout the day, we can also stop at small local workshops and meet artisans along the way, depending on the season and what is happening in the villages. This is not just a sightseeing tour. It is a day to meet local people, discover traditional crafts, walk through the Atlas Mountains and experience Morocco at a slower and more authentic pace.
